Unhappy wrongful termination

I was suspended from my job as Deli Manager on Tuesday 6/06. At the time of my suspension a investigation into my work habits had just started. While talking with my district manager, I stated that this was a common practice for us to do exactly what I had done, she stated yes, only you were caught!! She left the room to speak with store manager and attorney who was on the phone and I was then informed that I was suspended until further notice because they were afraid of any retalliation that I may cause??? No paperwork was issued for me to sign was just told that they would contact me with their decision. I was not given the opportunity to speak for myself, or to reply to the complaint that had been filed by my second in charge (again this was considered to be retalliation). On friday 6/9 I called in to see if a decision had been made, the store manager told me that No they were waiting for someone from HR dept to return from vacation. I asked him at that time if I could please have the opportunity to speak on my behave and he stated that he would see what he could do. That same day after 5:30 in the evening I recieved a telephone call telling me that I had been terminated, no reason was given, was told I would recieve that in the mail. Store policy is to have a oral, then written write up prior to any suspension or termination. This procedure was not followed. When I recieved my termintion explantion in the mail it was stated that I had previously been counsel on this praticular procedure, (is not a true statement) and a oral write up was on record. I do not have any knowledge of this write up and need to know what action I can take in order to be reinstated within the company, I have worked for them for the past 11 years (with the last 7 in a supervisory position). I do not feel that I was justly given any chance to defend myself, or may actions. I admitted to what I had done while being questioned.I was not concerened with my answer since I had been trained to do this procedure, have done so in all store's that I had been sent to to do training for new supervision, and it is common practice among all the stores that I have worked in to follow this procedure, I do not feel that I should have been fired. I do not no how to follow up with this, or how to even begin a grievence. This has caused a great hardship on my family since I am the sole support for my household. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
