Unjustified Termination, sexual harassment/"perceived disabilty" discrimination
Hi, I hope someone can help me. I was unjustly fired from my position with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. I have some Neurologicial Conditions, Hydrocephalus, Post-Concussion Syndrome, and Epilepsy. I had a car accident on April 7, 1998, and that is when I sufferend from the concussion, but the Hydrocephalus was diagnosed in 1977 when I was seven, and the Epilspsy diagnosed in 1995, when I had my first known grand-mal seizure.
Any way, when I returned from the car accident, I was harassed and the union encouraged me to try to transfer, which I did and on January 18, 2000, I started a new job in a different agency in the Commonwealth, called the Office of Inspector General. The man who hired me said he created the position just for me and I was making life difficult for him to protect me by wanting to do my job. I filed ten grievances while I worked for the Office of Inspector General, but while I was challenging the interim performance reviews, I was being disciplined for unsatisfactory performance and I was fired.
I was fired in October 2002, but I had realized that I was being "grateful" to my boss who wanted me to have *** with him (and I didn't want to seem "ungrateful" to him) and that i shouldn't fell this way, and I told his boss about it, and he was internally investigated and fired. Now, I am fighting for that job, the union has stopped representing me, and I have ten witness statements of meetings I had with Management while I was employed and a union steward was present. I have two Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission complaints filed against the OIG, one PHRC complaint filed against the union, AFSCME, and one filed against the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Office of Administration. I need a lawyer to take me on as a pro-bono client or on a contingency fee basis, and I did ask for my job back with back pay, at which I made over $35,000 a year.
Any ideas on how to acquire such a lawyer? I have been trying and tyring but I can't seem to do it. I will even drop the complaint against the union if I have to, but I won't drop it unless a lawyer tells me that they'll take me on as a client IF I drop the complainta against the union.
Thanks for any help.
