disability insurance blowing me off

im permanently disabled.nine + doctors and specialists have stated so.my occupational insurance company has been benefiting me for three years on a tmporary disability status.now its time to change over to permanent,and they keep blowing me off with excuses..its been weeks, they said theyd call me back after their superior gave a decission...i have a policy and have on numereous occasions read and reread its terms to them.even the social security disability folks have spoken with them stating that the policy is good...how do i get this issue resolved?

Well friend, sorry to hear about your condition, but disability benefits only when as income and reduce your benefits. Look in the "definitions" section of your policy/Certificate of insurance for the definition of "income." It'll explain an insurer is only concerned with EARNED income. Since disability insurance payments are not earned, it's not income.
