Default uk child visa

I will try and keep this as brief as possible.

A member of my family remarried and went to live in the UK.He left his son behind with his grand parents until he was settled in work.

Later he made a application for his son age 14 to go to live in the UK. Visa sectioned refused on the grounds that the boy age 14 had family living in turkey.

He apealed on the grounds that the boys grand parents had become to ill to look after the boy

They wanted proof. Dr's reports where sent stating that the grandfather was terminally ill and the grand mother needed constraint care as she as arthritis.

The father of the boy has just visited turkey. As the grandfather died today 3.10.2006.

Again the visa section was contacted they asked for a copy of the death certificate to be faxed. This was done.
On calling them late today. There reply was as follows.

Who is going to look after the grand mother ..
Our Reply a family member,This would however only be short term.as the family member is in full time occupation ..As the grand mother would need constant care and would need to go into a care home.

(Then there is still a family member who could look after this boy in turkey they said.)!!!came there reply.

The boys father must return to the UK within 4 days. Or loose is job .
The young boy is already broken hearted now he will never know when or how he will ever see his father again.

We have made several calls all day to the visa section and the apeal office in the UK. They tell us the boy must wait for his apeal date.

Any help would be be welcome..

You may want to consult an attorney in the UK. Most individuals on here only know US law.
