I was wondering if someone could help me. The case is that last year when I was in the US, I overstayed
my Visa Waiver by 58 days. The day before I was about to go back I got sick. I was in bed on and off for two weeks. I was sick more or less for a whole month. Because it was my first time to the US, I thought that because it said 90 days granted in my passport I could stay. It was after comming back home to my country I discovered that was not the case. It's the stamp on the Green Visa waiver that counts. I'm now planning to go back to the US to see my girlfriend. I came back to my country in March last year. My dilemma now is, will they grant me a B1 tourist visa so I can go back? I've been reading online to find some answers. But there's not much to find. They say that if you overstay your VW visa you got to apply for a regular visa. I'm scared they will not grant me a B1 tourist visa so I can go back. It's been over a year sense I came back home. Will they grant me a visa so I can go back? I'm planing to stay for 4 months. Please help!!! Thanks. Last edited by Starman : 06-29-2006 at 05:12 PM. |
