For over 2.5 years my town inspector is just not enforcing the towns zoning regulations. I have written evidence from him stating he can make exceptions to the regulations. Having followed all the way through with my complaint, he I am still not getting any relief from the problems, and my complaints to the town Administrator have had no results. The offending neighbor has placed the blame fully on me and has threatened and constantly harrasses my wife and myself, and continues to create as much of a disturbance as possible.
any suggestions ? I have everything fully documented including written communications from both the inspector and admin. |

There are circumstances when a planning/zoning office can give exemptions to existing zoning laws. Because you haven’t told us anything about the specific situation, I think it would be best for you to contact a local attorney familiar with zoning law. If your neighbor calls you, don’t answer the phone. If his “disturbances” are against city ordinances, call the police.
