Looking into the future prenup

Im a 22 year old student, Im getting married in november, I haven't been able to get orientation about a prenup yet but I plan on doing it.

My concern is this one, I dont know if I can have a prenup that is going to benefit me since like I mentioned before I havent been properly oriented.

Right now Im a student, by the time of my weddin I will still be a student, as most students I dontg own anything because I dont have a job since my parents preffer for me to concentrate on school alone. My fiancee works and h will be the one supporting me until I finish , and thats going to be aprox. a year after the wedding. My concern is, once I finish my studies and I start to work I will make 3 times if not a bit more of my fiancee's salary, I wanted to know if its possible to have a prenup where I dont need him to co sign for financial issues and if something were to happen in the future we each take whats in our names.

I should mention Im interested in this because he has a child from a previous relationship and also his credit is not so good. I just want to ensure that if we get a divorce what Ive bought with my work wont be split between us, I also dont want my money to be considered for child support, I dont want to work so a kid from a previous relationship(with whom I love have no problems with ) gets what should be for my kids.
