police harrassment-please help

I am asking for help for my 17 yr old Grandson. For the past 9 months he has been stopped regularly, sometimes twice in one day by the same officer. Sometimes they are rough with him mess up his vehicle, sometimes they ask for his ID and then just walk off and leave. He was associating with kids who had arrest records at the time and one of the officers on a random stop told him his truck was tagged.
1 month ago, he was stopped again and he and his vehicle were searched. They found NOTHING. BUT the boy riding with him had a joint of pot in his shoe and my Grandson was arrested and charged with drug paraphanalia described as 2 pkgs of unopened swisher cigars. The police took 1 pkg and left the other. I hired an attorney, paid him, and my grandson was arraigned on March 29 pleaded not guilty. THAT SAME DAY he was pulled over and the police say they found 8 ounces pot under his seat and 1 baggy in his pocket. They asked to search his truck and he had told them "NO" on the advice of the attorney. But they did anyway using profanity about the attorney. They arrested him, charged him with possession w/ intent, impounded the truck (it's in my name) set bond at $10,000. and I bonded him out the next day.
They NEVER have read him any Miranda rights. NEVER. The second arrest is on video tape he believes because they had him on the hood of car.

He was stopped with no explanation why 25 times in 1 month.
He was gainfully employed (lost that) attending school at nite, and no previous arrests. The truck was impounded and hidden for 3 days. It was finally found stripped at an abandoned bldg owned by the people the police called to tow it awayWe live in Louisiana
Now I dont know what to do. I cant get the attorney I paid 1500.00 to go to arraignment with him to return my calls. I have filled out the LegalMatch form for help w/attorney. My ?? are:
1.Any chance of these charges being combined?
2. How do they get away with this type search?
3. Dont they have to read his rights?
4. Does this lawyer I hired have any obligation at all to us?
5. Who was/is responsible for damage to treuck and possessions
6. What is drug court?
