Tucson Police LIED

I am currently in a case with CPS in Tucson. I am, according to CPS, not allowed to talk to my daughter. I ask for this in writing, CPS would not give me anything. Is this legal procedure even though there is no court order ?

I also would like to know where to get forms and how to file charges against people and Tucson police, in this case, for Slander/Defamation of character.

Your posting references the police in the subject line then talks about CPS.

CPS doesn't have to give you a court order in writing----they have the legal authority to act in exigent circumstances and take a child and order a parent to stay away temporarily pending a court hearing/ investigation/further action.

There is no form to fill out to sue the police. Section 1983 of civil liability governs what police officers (and others) can and cannot do under the color of the law. They are free to offer an opinion since they are, in very simple terms, in the "businessess" of making such judgments and evaluations on a daily basis. It would be hard to prevail in a law suit against them for expressing to CPS ( for example) they felt you were a danger ( that is merely an example).
