It occurs to me I do a great disservice to JELLY BEANS by comparing them to this insipid nonsense.

The QUESTION was:
YOU CRITICIZED me for not bothering : ".....to think about where our court system came from... and, therefore, what principles made it what it should have been but is not. I suspect the French have nearly the best."

I agreed. And I stand property chastized.

Now....... tell me. What principles "MADE it what it should have been but is not".

Name ONE single principle the French have that has resulted in a superior government, one without corruption, vice and greed. Just one.

THAT was YOUR statement.

Defend it. Explain it. What in the world does it mean?

Surely you wouldn't just blather on about something for which you 1. have no proof or 2. you really haven't given any other thought aside from this driving anti American hatred you nurse as though it were a wounded animal. How irresponsible of you to declare another country as the best in the world without having any concrete objective facts on which to base your opinion.
Which FRENCH trial was so stellar that you feel it makes our American system of jurisprudence pale in comparision?
If you THINK it is the best, then explain WHY. The truth was displayed in your very first comments erroneously calling France a DEMOCRACY when they are not. That alone robs the rest of your meanderings of any legitimacy whatsoever. If you do not even know what kind of government an entire country has, how in the love of marshmallows can you form a rational educated opinion about their system of jurisprudence you so glibly declared "the best"? You are espousing an uneducated and uninformed opinion for which you have no rational basis nor proof.
It is, clearly, an ignorant statement without justification or reason and is, as a result, indefensible.

Red jelly beans. They are the best.

Is there a reason you won't answer the question? You made a statement.........explain it. Give an example. What is it I MISSED ---what principle is it that the French have that makes it the BEST system of justice, void of corruption and greed?

The TRUTH is..........you 1. misspoke or 2. don't have a CLUE what in the world you are talking about or 3. a little of both.

I should be glad you aren't trying to actually defend some facet of the French government that makes it that great "democracy" that it is. (eyeroll)

Enough said.

Then don't make irresponsible and anti-American statements in a public forum and you won't have to worry about it.

You are unmasked. Hoisted on your own petard.

You made an incorrect, (France is a democracy) unpatriotic statement (France is the best), one for which you have NO justification, explanation, or reason.

An indefensible position isn't worth holding .

I have not said the first Anti-American thing. YOU attributed to me wrongly a statement I supposedly made saying people had to agree with me. They do not. And I did not say that.

Name one quote (word for word) I have said that is unpatriotic.

YOU said FRANCE had tbe best system of jurisprudence. But you then said France is a democrary. It is not. They do not.

Any time ANYONE thinks another country is better than this one, it makes sense you should move there instead of sitting here and complaining about it ad nauseum.
Accomodate my education? YOU are the one who doesn't know France is not a democracy and YOU are the one who cannot give a SINGLE example of YOUR assertion about some principles that are but shouldn't be or blah blah blah.

Stop trying to conceal the fact you made an ignorant, incorrect and alarmingly uneducated statement that is without defense.

It is ANTI AMERICAN to invite citizens to leave if they don't like the status quo.

YOU are the one who said France was still a democracy... I simply said the US wasn't the first democracy... I was alluding to some well known city states also bordering the Mediterranean. But you didn't reason that one through either.

So STOP telling people to LEAVE your country... bigotry is unbecoming. Especially when it comes from someone who is bragging about becoming a lawyer... someday.

roflmao just when I think you cannot POSSIBLY be more wrong, you SURPRISE ME! OMG......

WHERE did I say FRANCE was a democracy?? Was it THIS sentence??

Not only is FRANCE a REPUBLIC and not a DEMOCRACY, America was not created a “Democracy”—that word was coined around 1930s. It does not exist in the American constitution

No, that wasn't it. Hmmm....wait.........I found it! This must be where I said it:

YOU said FRANCE had the best system of jurisprudence. But you then said France is a democracy. It is not. They do not.

Drats...........no, thats not it. Wow........I don't see it. COPY and paste WHERE I SAID FRANCE IS A DEMOCRACY OMG...........YOU LIE LIKE A JELLY BEAN.

Not only do you make horribly wrong and factually incorrect statements, you then attribute them to ME! You have so much nerve----either that or you are off your Rx.

Lets look now at what YOU said ----the US is NOT the first democracy, NEITHER IS FRANCE.

DUH. France isn't a democracy PERIOD. I've said it EVERY posting since YOU'VE made that ridiculous assertion. You think people cannot read????????

I replied FRANCE is NOT a democracy then YOU wrote a tutorial on undocumented sources. THEN you added:

I suspect you have not bothered to think about where our court system came from... and, therefore, what principles made it what it should have been but is not. I suspect the French have nearly the best

You're right. I haven't. NAME ONE PRINCIPLE----just one.

Nothing?

Of course not.

Now.......I ask you, if you deem a tutorial on "French civil law" IRRELEVANT and you told me to abandon it, you now blame ME for "missing" a vague reference to some "MEDITERANNEAN blah blah blah"...........which Mediterranean whatever you were referring to MATTERS? YOU said FRENCH were the 'best'---so what does it matter what some MEDITERANNEAN whatever does? Hey--why don't you just NAME that specific Mediterranean city state? Which one were you talking about? I missed it---you know. Which one?

I never said anything about the status quo. I said people who do not believe this is the greatest country on earth should LEAVE. I said nothing about the status quo. YOUR words--not mine and trust me, NOTHING about you could EVER remotely parallel me. Don't flatter yourself.

YOU said ANOTHER country is "the best". I say move there. Why would you live in a country you didn't believe in heart and soul?

Oh--wait, I know why. Because THEN you'd not have anything about which to gripe and moan. TELLING people who do NOT believe this is the best country on earth to leave and put their time, money, and loyalty into the country they DO Think is best is NOT bigotry. It is PATRIOTISM. Take your "abandon the Constitution for a one world government cuz France has the best" shtick and go to France.

Nuttttttttttttttttttier than a squirrel in a Mr. Peanut factory.
