Default Slip and Fall Frustration

I'm so frustrated. I fell and hurt my back 6 weeks ago and have been in hell ever since. I fell due to my landlords negligence. She had her handyman lay carpet and he obviously had no idea what he was doing. He didn't glue the padding down on the stairs and used standard staples to tack it down instead of industrial nails. Because of this the carpet gave way under my feet and I fell square on my back. I can't seem to find an attorney who will take my case. I live in a small town and the only personal injury lawyer more than likely knows my landlord. The street where I work is named after her. In a small town that means alot.

The carpet is now coming loose in other areas. I have not reported it pending legal advise. Is there anyone out there that can help me?

Lightbulb Looking For an Attorney

You either need to call your local county bar association for a referral, look in the phone book, or post your case on this site www.legalmatch.com to find an attorney. Good luck with your case.

Thanks. I created my case 5 days ago. Does anyone know how long it takes?

Also my doc gave me celebrex knowing that I am allergic to sulfur based meds. He even asked me what happens when I take sulfur based drugs. After taking it for one day I was itching from the inside out and had intestinal bleeding. The bleeding stopped within 24 hours. Is this worth pursuing?

Cool

It will be worth it to discuss your situation with an attorney. Your attorney can then advise you whether or not he/she believes it is worth your while to pursue the case.
