Talking Ants in Candy Canes

I recently purchased candy canes at a supermarket. They were full of ants. I even think I ate some before noticing. Is there anything I can do? It makes me sick to my stomach just thinking about this.

You need to show damages to win any personal injury law suit. In your case, they only thing you can claim is what are called, “intentional infliction of emotional distress”. Unfortunately those types of cases are rarely won without some additional physical damage.

However, if you are up to it, you can always go back to the store, make a big stink about the ants and see if they will give you a year’s supply of candy canes in order to make you “go away”.
