Angry Needle

My youngest son found a needle in his new comforter set 1 week after buying it. Where legally should I go with this. Is it personal injury or product defect? It did poke him but didn't draw blood. I have contacted the company. They said they would call back but haven't as of yet. It has been over a week since the needle was found. I have lost sleep over it. I am not sure where to go with this. Any help would be great.

You would only have a case if there was an injury resulting from the needle. You might be able to get a nominal amount of money or coupons for your troubles. If they don't respond tell them you are going to hire an attorney and/or alert the news media. See if this results in any response.

Default Needle

The needle is 3 1/2 inches long. It is huge! I sew. I have never seen a needle that long before.

Like I said in my previous post, since there was no physical injuries it will be hard to obtain a judgment if you have no monetary losses. Talk to the manufacturer. Threaten to sue or go to the media. But honestly, it will be difficult to prevail. Remember, this is the United States and anyone can sue for anything so don't think I am trying to discourage you, just letting you know the uphill battle you are about to endure.
