Default Personal Injury at a Hotel

Hi guys, i just have a question:
its for a case study that i have to go....

Assume that a disabled guest using a room at a hotel that does not meet all the requirements of Access Canada Level 1, and had a personal injury accident
while using the bathtub. What potential liability might the hotel incur? What legal
doctrine would likely determine the court’s outcome of the liability judgment?
What might be the potential benchmark that this legal doctrine would be
measured against?

Thanks so much for your help ! =)

Help? Doing your homework for you is NOT helping you.

Perhaps you missed the point of the exercise--to LEARN. You are cheating yourself out an education as well as the satisfaction of a job well done.

Try listening in class and completing your reading assignments.

nono...~ I'm sorry, maybe I didn't make myself clear,
Im not looking for an answer... I was hoping for resource suggestions that i could use. Or a starting point from somewhere, because everywhere that I have searched, doesn't talk about this kind of case with people with disabilities.

...and I DO go to class, its just that this isn't what my class is about. This is a case study for my Lodgings class (I'm in a hotel program), not law or anything relatively related to law. This is why, I'm looking for help.
But thank you for your comment.

Before I went to law school, I was an educator, licensed in the state of South Carolina ( public record ). I never gave an assignment without giving my students what they needed to complete it. I cannot imagine your teacher giving you an assignment without telling you how or where to complete it.

Furthermore, you have no assurance you will receive the correct answer here. Why not ask your teacher for direction--not regarding the answer, but where to actually FIND the answer.

It is obvious your teacher thinks he or she has provided that for you already. And, in fact, they may say, "Oh, I forgot to tell you----" and add information. Asking on a message board on the Internet is risky---because even among those who actually study law, answers vary.
