Hello,
I've been looking for some helpful information about my situation, and Google brought me here. It looks like you guys are doing great job helping those in need, but let’s get to the point… I was about to file an application for a citizenship, but few years ago things in the family business got messed up, and I ended up with felony charges. I was sentenced to 5 year probation with restitution of $35k. I've heard from one attorney that most likely I will get deported. Was she right? Is there anything that can be done? I have no previous criminal record, even clean driving record, pay over $50k/year in federal taxes. I've been financially supporting both my parents (US Citizens) since their health prevents them from working. I've also donated money to charities… Is there any hope the resident like me can become a citizen, or at least continue my current status????? Any advice will be very appreciated... |
