Canadian RN needs help!
Hi! I'm a Canadian citizen with a current TN visa which is due to expire in sept. I recently gave birth to my daughter and was married in Feb. My husband is a US citizen. I was wondering how to go about obtaining a greencard or how I would obtain dual citizenship. Is a greencard the thing to do first? I am so confused about all of this and I don't have the bucks to hire a lawyer right now. If anyone has any advice on where to start and how much I will be looking at initially in fees I would greatly appreciate it. Also, is it necessary to go to a border crossing?

Immigration is one of those things that you do not want to do incorrectly---easier to do it right than to "redo" it.
This is the government web site that deals with immigration: USCIS.GOV Many attorneys give free or low cost evaluations. Perhaps that would be sufficient to answer your questions in this very complicated matter.
