Foreclosure sale
Ugh! I moved back home about 2 years ago. Today I came home from work and my mom told me that our house is being sold on Monday in a foreclosure auction. Is there anything I can do? I can't afford my own place. What happens now? I'm in Cook County, IL.

You probably would need to pay what is owed etc. Since you don't know anything about foreclosures you would want to hire an attorney to advise you of your rights and assist you with the process. If you can't afford your own place then chances are you can't afford to pay for the deficiency amount on the mortgage.
