Sherrifs sale
Please explain a Sherriffs sale and if we are responsible to pay the attorney for working on the case for the house. The attorney,whom we didn't hire, said that we owe them $1,000 for the time they spent on working on the house situation. We don't think that we owe them a thing since we didn't ask them to work on it. Plus they are working for Countrywide who is falling down financially.
