Angry Tired of jumping through hoops

Hello to those out there that may finally be able to help me get some answers.
I have many issues, guestions and problems in connection with my home loan through COUNTRYWIDE!!!! ARGH!!
Here is a basic outline of the situation.
Wife was primary on loan
Seperated 3 1/2 years ago she keep the home but only to allow it to go into forclosure and somehow also filed a personal bankruptcy soley which included her part of the home loan???
At the Divorce I was granted the home so I did a " workout program with them jumped through every hoop, but at the end of that when I was suppose to be all current and good they came back and said that my ARM had adjusted 4 or so months back and now i was behind again because they had applied one of my payments to that and did not send me any paper work stating that.
So then I get this offer from them stating that due to the state of the economy that they would redo my loan at the orignal rate yadda yadda so again i jump through all the hoops and everything seems to be great , i get the papers to sign , sign them but I pay no attention to the fact that they asked for my now ex-wifes signature, this assumption also worked out to give me one month with out making a payment because they just adjusted it all, supposedly...
well one week before i was to make my first payment on the new loan they said OH NO we need her signature and now they will not honor the agreement.
They have gotten all the information re; her bankruptcy, the finale divorce, a quit claim from her, over 2 years of paper and phone communication with me continuosly involing the fact that she was no longer any part of this.
I have sent bank records , pay check stubs, well any and everything they have asked for, but just yesterday i get a call from yet another person , this makes about the 5 direct and millionth rep. person, stating that she need me to send her the same dang info i have sent over and over.
I guess my guestion is can anyone help me in dealing with COUNTRYWIDE???
Who can I contact to make some major complaints and get some answer and action.
And because of this whole mess my credit rateing is messed up so I have be unable to find another mortgage company that will work with me.....
I NEED SOME SERIOUS HELP!

1. GET away from COUNTRYWIDE.
2. GET A FIXED RATE ASAP.
3. Take your paperwork to a local attorney and, for the cost of an hour of his time, ask for clarification, and/or for him to send a letter to Countrywide for you, explaining your position --that you have complied with all their requests.

When my husband died suddenly last year, and I was left with a houseful of children to raise, I knew we did not want to stay in the house we had lived in---a house that was in his name only ( on the note and deed). So, I had the option of deeding the house back to the mortgage company without it affecting MY credit. However, when I went to buy a home, I thought I had shopped around--and ended up with a conforming rate, fixed, and a sizable, yet reasonable payment (I thought). However, two days after closing I was chatting in passing with a friend and they suggested a local mortgage company. I told them I had JUST bought my house--I wasn't interested. But, this gal called me and in thirty days, I was paying my second mortgage payment, to a different company, and it was nearly six hundred dollars LESS than it was with the first company. And, I was fortunate enough to get a loan with a great company that services their own loans ( none of this hopping back and forth each time the loan is bought and sold by someone else). My point is, I thought I had done my homework and I thought I had gotten a great deal. But, I was stunned to find out, whoa, suddenly my payment was a third LESS at an even BETTER rate with a more reputable well known company.

Keep trying, keep beating the bushes, so to speak. I did best with local mortgage brokers who wanted my business ( as opposed to places like lowermybills.com). LMB.com is a great company, I am sure, but I liked the one on one feeling of being able to sit down with someone across the table and talk to them face to face. Then, if a problem arises, I can get in my car and drive there and see them face to face.

There is a lot of difference between companies. Keep shopping. In the meanwhile, a visit with an attorney would be worth the money.

Good luck.
