Question on Filing complaint for appeal
I am a landlord and I filed for eviction and the District Justice granted me possesion . After 11 days I went to file for lock out and found out the tenant had appealed. Now I have twenty days to file a complaint in court of common pleas. I want to know by filing this complaint, would the eviction procedures be continued (lock out)or would I have to go to trial. Does this complaint make any difference in determining if there is a trial or not. Does the complaint have to be done by a lawyer or can I do it myself.Is there a format I should use to do the complaint I am in pennsylvania.

Appears that the eviction is stayed during the appeal.
This info might help: http://www.clsphila.org/housing-eviction.htm At the bottom of the page they give you a number to call if you have any questions. If the article still leave you with questions I would call them.
