Default If I empty the house but leave stuff on the property...

can the landlord continue to charge me rent or a storage fee? What is a fair storage fee?

As long as any of your property is left there you can be charged rent. If landlord want to charge you a storage fee that is less than the rent he/she can chose to do so. Make sure you get the agreement in writing.
