Default Afraid for my child - International Abduction

I married a woman overseas a year and ten months ago and brought her over a short while after. She keeps telling me that she feels unhappy and unsecure here and wants to go home. We have a 2 month old baby and I am concerned that she may take the child without my permission. I know that her meddling parents are influencing her to leave me and take the baby back to her country. Also, her green card expires in a few months and I don't know what I should do about it. Does anyone know what a can do to prevent her from leaving the country with the child and about the green card issue?

I've waited a few days in hopes you'd receive a more helpful response, but still feel compelled to offer 2 suggestions. In answer to your questions regarding the green card, you may want to contact your local Department of Immigration and Naturalization with emphasis on how your child could legally leave the country. As far as the other questions, I'd obviously suggest a consultation with a good divorce attorney in your area. Even if nothing comes of your fears, you'd at least have some answers to your questions.

Sorry I can't be of more help here.
