Default Legal Race Definitions

Afrimerican is defined as a member of a race of humanity, born in the United States, descended from African immigrants...

The proponents of this term state it is the only such term that legally define such persons as American born per Immigration, Census, and other Federal laws.

Blacks Law Dictionary use to have a listing of the legal definition of "African-American, Negro, and Black and I would like to here from anyone who has a copy of that Edition of Blacks Law Dictionary, and I would appreciate if the legal definitions of those terms were provided on this forum

Thanks

Please no jokes or racist taunts

Oh, c'mon! We gots to have a little fun, don't we?

Look, in all seriousness, what would you like to know? What does it matter whether certain definitions "were provided on this forum"?

Do you have a legal question?

You "think" there's a question? Well, I still can't figure it out. You must be a better person than me. The writer said, "I would like to here (sic) from anyone who has a copy of that Edition of Blacks Law Dictionary, and I would appreciate if the legal definitions of those terms were provided on this forum."

I still can't figure out what the writer wants.

Side note: For God's sake, why did you remove my "Top 10" list? Do you have any idea what it takes, and the time it takes, to create those lists? You know, they're not easy!!

A little on the racist side...Trying to fly straight here at LM.

OP says he/she would like to hear from anyone who has that Blacks law dictionary and would like the definitions straight out of dictionary...who knows really.

"Racist side"? Oh, c'mon!! It's a poke at ourselves as a whole! Just because it mentions "Black" and pokes fun, doesn't mean it was the slightest bit "racist." Geez, do you have trouble laughing at yourself? Please, don't watch "Comedy Central", okay? My "List" was exceedingly tame.

Let's not go crazy with, and get caught up in the net, called "Politically Correct." Every race has something funny about it, and calling it to people's attention isn't "racist." Only hypersensitive people call everything "racist". It makes them feel good, but they go around life with a sad face all of their lives . . . and those are the ones that are usually the "racists."

With the few posts that this forum receives, it helps to draw people and it helps to break things up . . . usually the "lighter side" of life!! We call that, "taking a Chill Pill."

Edited to add: Also, if the writer is interested, Google is wonderful, and he/she doesn't need to know if "definitions (of Afrimerican) were provided on this site." Just asking about it is "racist" because it defines "a difference" in peoples. Since we're supposed to be "one people" without Color, then why have different "racial monikers"? The fact is, however, we ARE different, and there ARE different races. My Top 10 was merely poking fun at one of them. If the writer is interested, here are some definitions and sites:

http://www.afrimerican.com/

http://news.com.com/5208-1025-0.html...035&st art=-1

. . . and there's many more.

I edit for the good of the whole. We try not to offend anyone even the "hypersensitive people".

According to YOUR sensitivities? What about Expert's sensitivities? What about Gracie's sensitivities? Perhaps THEY aren't quite so "sensitive" and understand, and nay if I can be so bold, enjoy a little levity in their lives!

We are all different, and sometimes, it's appropriate to call attention to those differences. And, that begs the question, why did the original writer post their thoughts IF they didn't realize there are, in fact, differences among us?

Please, turn the channel when "Mind of Mencia" is on. God forbid, you might be offended!

Oh, please . . .

Perhaps we ADULTS should be in a bubble. We need protection . . .

P.S. Do you remember the Oath you took when you raised your right hand at the Bar Admission ceremony? Sure you do! You swore to uphold the Constitution. Did you forget the Constitution? The Founding Fathers might take a dim view of your form of "protection" - - which, by the way, they were trying to protect against.

I really don't care but I have been given the task of moderating and I get a ton of "reported posts" about all kinds of things that I don't personally feel need editing. This had nothing to do with me or EXPERT or GRACE but for those who read these posts. Remember this is a legal forum and people come for legal assistance not for jokes or top ten lists.

I personally enjoy your top ten lists. Unfortunately, you usually attach them to ads that I am required to delete.

You should "care". You're an attorney! The Constitution allows, and is required to allow, an exchange of ideas - - no matter HOW repugnant such ideas might be. The Top 10 Lists, if you read deeply, is also a "learning experience" using laughter. Remember, it is "the best medicine."

Doesn't it bother you to be censoring posts? Did you not learn anything in history class? Look up "book burning" in World War II Germany and Austria. Crystal Nacht, even in an extremely small degree, such as this forum, should never be tolerated. Censorship makes people forget their First Amendment, and that's a "legal lesson" I think you should be promoting.
