Unhappy LLein on property and Garnishment of wages/help

I lost a lawsuit and the judge said I had to pay attorney's fees. I never heard from the attorney but found out 1.5 years later (when I tried to refinance) that he had put a lien on my property. Today I received documents (from a source that is not my employer) that he is garnisheeing my wages. I have received no notice and no opportunity to make payments or anything. So can he have a lien on my property and garnishee my wages at the same time?? Should I not have been given some kind of notice about the lien and some kind of opportunity to make payments? I am in Washington State. These people are slugs.

You state that you knew you lost the case. You must have been informed that you lost and owe _________ amount of money to the person you lost the case to.

This is your notice that you owe money. That judgment most likely states that you have 30 days to pay the judgment.

Other than that notice you are entitled to no other notice. Property can be liened upon and wages garnished.
