Default How far can a parent go?

I have no problem in pysical exersize or sports. What I have a problem with is my parents forcing me to do a sport that I do not enjoy. They threaten to take away both my tv and computer which I worked and paid for. I am 15 years old and do not think that this is fair. can someone tell me if what they are doing is legal?

They're your parents, they can do whatever they want untill you are 18. Unless they are phisically hurting/forcing you to do the sport they are perfectly with in the law to restrict your privlidges no matter the reason.

It's not as simple as "stealing" or your parents being able to do anything they want. It's somewhere in between legally.

Practically is another matter. Teenagers often think that things are "unfair." Sometimes they are right. Often they are not. Regardless, no one is going to stop your parents from punishing you for not doing a sport criminally. Now you can always go hire a lawyer to sue your parents for taking stuff you paid for, like child actors who sue their parents for misappropriating their earnings, but I think you'd be laughed out of court.
