Hello-
I live in New York. My mother passed away without a will in 2005. There are four of us- two bothers and 1 sister. Shortly after my Mom's passing my sister, being the oldest, pushed for us to make her the administrator. In our grief stricken state (our father had just passed a couple years earlier) we all signed her on. Biggest mistake ever. Since she has become the administrator, my sister has made a mess of both the financial and physical aspect of the house that my parents once owned. She has hired a lawyer but he is shady and has dropped the ball. The house after three years is still in probate. How do we remove her as the administrator? How bad is it if any kind of issues arise ie.- physical destruction in any way or late mortgage payments, while the house is still in probate. Lastly does the administrator get any money out of the deal when all is said and done? We are so sick of wathcing the house our parents worked hard for go down the tubes. Something has to be done. -Frustrated in NY. :I see that I have no response at all. . . (what good is this website??) ANyone willing to help me please E-mail me at ptrama27@gmail.com thanks!
