Default Get rid of Westside Law

Can I just say 'Westside Law' whoever you are... I think (and im sure others will agree) that you should be banned from using the forums on Legal Match, you are far too self important and you seem to only be able to post useless and unhelpful comments.
I have seen a number of your replies to people's geniune problems and you only seem to make it worse by being very rude and judgemental.
Why dont you do everyone a favour and leave...

Let's play nice....

I think the problem stems from the fact that it is difficult to give legal advice on a forum. Second, it is even more difficult when new facts emerge after each new post. Facts are so important to a case and the slightest change can alter or change the advice completely.

I say Westside Law stays. It will ultimately benefit all of you.

Thank you. And, thank you for seeing the frustration I was seeing with the writer's statements and "facts."

Cool

Unfortunately much of the confusion here lies in the fact that a legal forum is not a back and forth communication... and that the responders are not being paid for their responses.

In this case, Westside Law tried to respond, but the facts were somewhat changed by the poster. This is normal as most people do not want to release all the facts of their legal issue on a forum and think they can truncate those facts and still get an answer to their question. Unfortunately, since the posters are not attorneys nor fully understand their issues, they end up truncating the wrong facts and making it harder for repliers to answer their questions effectively. That's why I often reply with "seek a local attorney" response.

Perhaps we can put together some forum guidelines that remind posters to put down all the facts because what they may not think is relevant, actually is. And an absence of important details will lead to an inability to of responders to properly respond to a post. Please consider this Admin.

And Westside Law, you are being a bit harsh. Yes the poster is not giving all the information they should when asking a question, but most people don't unless they are prodded (as they typically are in an attorney office). It doesn't mean that their claim is invalid. In this case it sounds like the poster does have grounds to sue and I'm sure they can get a copy of the documents if they get an attorney involved. Whether they will win or not will depend on a lot of things that we are not aware of. You could have just responded with that way instead of slamming them. I understand your frustration, but remember, these issues are "life changing" and extremely important to the posters. And the posters are sharing them with us. I believe that they should be given a level of respect and understanding for opening up to us as they are.

Thank you for the "pep talk," Expert. I will try harder.
