Life Insurance Problems
My father passed away a little while ago and we received his life insurance papers from the government agency, but they were the old ones from 1987. He had since updated his papers after his divorce was finalized in 1997. We have no proof of that since he did this over the internet (he was deployed in Bosnia at the time). My sister and I would like to know if we have some legal action we can take to remove my step-mother from the benificiary list and only have it include my sister and myself? I've talked to some state lawyers and they have told me it is not a state matter. Help.....
