I have a question about my mothers estate and trust. she passed away on aug 16th and left the house to me. i found a problem in the section of the trust dealing with the house. when the estate planner created the trust he inadvertently put the wrong number of the estate down.
whats happening now is that the hospital where my mom owed bills to are trying to put a lien on the house and are saying that because of the wrong information put in the trust, the house is not left the trust and will go to probate now. what i a want to know is: 1. is there a way to fix this? 2. what recourse do i have for the person who created this estate (this is NOT the first mistake he has made in my moms trust) 3. can the hospital put a lien on the house even though is was left to me and the trust was a no probate estate? thanks for the replys in advance |
