Question Administrator?

My aunt passed away last year, April/08. I can't believe she didn't leave a will, none was found There are six heirs to my aunt's estate, her nieces and nephew. Three siblings from my mom and three siblings from my uncle. My cousin petitioned to become the Administrator of the estate. No one was crazy about the idea but I spoke up and asked if she could be supervised. The judge agreed to that, I think he sensed some apprehension from those who said nothing. We really don't know each other although we're cousins. There were some things done while trying to get the funeral arranged that made me feel she should be supervised. She had the finances to retain a lawyer while we were still researching this whole process of probate. She started behaving as if she was the sole heir from the start. She arrived early on the day that we agreed to divide my aunt's belongings (from the house that's been in the family for three generations paid in full). Upon my arrival she was in the process of loading a van with items from the house. When questioned she replied "if anyone wants anything they can come to my house and get it" She has not felt the need to keep us informed of the estate's business. I can't write everything in this small space. The final straw was today at the 14 month accounting when the lawyer told the judge that the accounting wasn't complete because the house hasn't sold. This was after the judge stated that this is supposed to be the final accounting not the first. Outside the courtroom the lawyer told my sister and I that the judge gave them until the third week in September to comply. Also, she said that because my cousin's (the administrator) husband had surgery the accounting wasn't complete. When asked why was he doing the administrator's job, she said that my cousin wasn't good with math-WHAT!
We've tried to get answers to these questions:
Why hasn't the Mercedes been sold? What's the status of the US saving bonds that had been cashed (after my aunt's death)?
What type of bids have been made on the house? to name a few. I even submitted these questions to the judge in writing today, I was told that the lawyer should be able to answer the questions. Well the main lawyer didn't know much and said that she has to make some calls to find out whats going on. We've previously tried to get answers to many questions from the lawyer's associate (to whom the case was turned over to and wasn't in court today because of the flu). Calls to the associate suddenly went unanswered only to find out that my cousin, the administrator had instructed the associate not to communicate with us and to deffer any questions to her. She very seldom answer calls and when she does it's with attitude and resulting in her not being able to answer anything. I have said all of this because this has been very stressful to me because I was close to my aunt. The administrator was not - she didn't even know what her illness was. I truly believe my aunt had a will but I guess we'll never know. Her two sisters, my sister and I feel we should retain a lawyer. We go to court and feel invisible. Would it help? Could we petition to have her removed as administrator since she's not doing the job - her husband is.
