get house in my name

back in 2001 my father past away.he had a will where my oldest brother was executor.i am the youngest and my other brother past away about 10 years ago,3 brothers all involved since my father did'nt change his will after he past.at first everything was fine,we dicussed that i would fixup the house and get any extra $ that was made after the sale.he even said i could move in the house and would leave some $ from my fathers bank account to pay any bills.i could'nt do that because of a previous lease i had signed.then the day he had the will go through probate he had a forsale sign in the front yard,he had been talking to a real estate agent.i had been going to the house maybe once a week to do some work or check the house when i saw the sign.the house is worth about $80,000 he was going to sell it for $60,000 just to get rid of it.i called the realtor and said i am also on the will and not going to sell.after that i talked to my brother and told him what we discussed end we got mad and he said that he was'nt putting any $ out for the house,so i ended up paying for 2 places for 7 months which drained my account.i then moved into the house and have been remodeling it and have spent around $10,000 in material only.my father had $17,000 in his account,i got about $5,000.since then we havn't talked,we go through my mother.he has signed a quitclaim deed on the house a couple months ago.i am trying to do everything myself.i am disabled from cancer and i can barely get by on paying the bills.i have filed a deed of trust at the court house(a lawyer told me to do that to stop the sell of the house).i also filed the quitclaim.i am trying to get the house in my name.theres about $20,000 in equity.i went to the bank,they said go to a title co.i went to one and they said that the quitclaim is no good in texas and i would need a realestatelawyer.i can't afford one .i went to another title co. and they told me i would have to go to the bank.now i don't know where to turn..all i want is the house in my name.now (1-10-06) my mother tells me my brother wants $10,000 when the house is sold.
