removing an executor

My father passed away in April of 2006. He named two of my uncles as executors. My uncles did not know this was done and would like to be removed from the will as executors. I was main beneficiary of my father's estate and have been the one to take care of all final arrangements and final debts. How would we go about having my uncle's removed as executor and having me named as executor?
