Default Breech Of Fidicuary Duty ?

Question - my father passed away in 1992...
We were only children at the time and we were told the estate was 'bankrupt' , and we ( the hiers) tried on numerous occasion to contact the executor (his mother) and her lawyer during the past 16 years.

We were told by his mother never to call again , that there was no money left, and that she never wanted to hear from us again. Each phone call till this day ends within 10 seconds and a phone hung up on us.

She refuses to communicate with us or give us any information.

Her lawyer refuses to contact us as well.

Due to lack of information I wrote the the judge , and he ordered a status hearing. He admonished the lawyer and the executor to communicate with the hiers. Also turns out there is money left in the estate and alot of it.

The executor and her lawyer still refuse to communicate with the hiers despite the judge's admonishment.

Can we petition to remove her based soley on her refusal to communicate with and or talk to the hiers? I am not a lawyer , but it is my opinion that she is not acting in the best interest of the hiers ( fidicuary duty) if niether her lawyer nor she will communicate with us!????
