My father has a will in which I am not named. I believe that it was just a mistake as all my other siblings are named. I had a great relationship with my father and took care of him while he was sick. Do I have any options and I don't believe that my money hungry siblings will voluntarily give me my share.
Thanks. ![]() |

Was the will written before you were born. I know many states have laws protecting children born after the writing of the will. Are you specifically cut out of the will? I think some states require this to occur otherwise you can contest.

I don't know about other states, but in the State of Ohio if you are not mentioned at all, you have cause to contest the will. In order to be totally cut out of the will it would need to be stated specifically in that will that you are to receive little or nothing.
