Will Question

My wife's parents are willing their house to her. My wife's mother said she can never sell it. Can you put this in the will. Is this legal?

I am not sure, but I think if it is bequested in a will the beneficiary can do anything once the person passes. If the mother wants it not to be sold I would think she needs to see an attorney for establishing a trust for the property with your wife named in it and requirements for the preservation of the property.
