Had a lunch job interview with another company. Current boss saw the employee at the job interview with a competitor company.
When employee got back to work was questioned by boss about giving company information to the competitor. After falsely accused employee decided to take the other job. Employee gave 2 week notice to train replacement. Was called that night and told not to come back to work. Also told not to come back and pickup personal items. Got them to agree that employee could pickup personal items but was told to do so after work. Is employee entitled to severance pay? There was no contract in place for it. Thank you for any assistance. |
