I live in the state of Nebraska. I resigned from employment on Feb, 2009 and submitted a written complaint to school board and they reinstated my employment with back pay on May 7, 2009. On May 12, 2009 the Superintendent of schools told me go home and my contract was not legal. I have signed contract on May 7, 2009 for year until 2010. I continued to work not want to breach the contract and it has been over a month with no pay yet? The current school board keeps telling me to hold off and they are going to get me paid. Don’t file for unemployment. What am I suppose to do, I cannot continue to work with no pay. There other issues with in this case involving Individual school board members harassing me and threatening me. This is why the current school board reinstated my position. Much more to my case but need to speak with a attorney for guidance. |
