My boss and I recently made up a contract for my commisions on jobs that I handle. Now he is saying that this did not pretain to preexisting clients the company had before I started selling, only my new customers. It says nothing about this in the signed contract. I have two questions, #1 can he do this? #2 If i am in the right and I bring this up can he just fire me?

There's a LOT of contingencies in your question based upon the kind of job you have, your seniority therein, the contents of your commissions contract, etc. Personally, I'd recommend that you ask your boss to point out the verbiage in your contract which disclaims preexisting clients from your commissions. Given the response, you may have a stronger case ... or simply have an unclear point clarified.
