I Worked For 4 Years As A Bartender, Then I Was Offered Club Manager. After Agreeing We Created A Contract. Good For One Year, Then Every Year After That We Signed A New One. On 8-2005, I Was Informed That The Club Was Closing Due To Financial Problems, All 15 Employees Were Informed That Our Jobs Were Secure And Not To Worry. We All Signed Up For Unemployment. Well Now They Say None Of The Previous Employees Are Coming Back. To Sum It Up, My Contract Don't Expire Until April 2006, It States That If Either Party Elects To Void The Contract Then That Party Must Give A Two Week Notice, And That I Would Retain My Seniority As Bartender. I Would Like To Know What, If Anything, I Can Do??

You might have to sue them for Breach of Contract. If they don't give you required notice and don't rehire as Bartender then you can sue for damages. It may be wise to consult an attorney. He/She could write a letter to your employer explaining situation and possible lawsuit if terms of contract are not followed.
