employment contract breached?

Hello,

I have an interesting case I need urgent advice on:

I signed an employment contract for a 9 month period with a consulting company, which entailed a cross country move. After being sent an offer letter and having finalized on terms of the contract, both my wife and I quit our full time permanent jobs for this opportunity, I was even given a start date and partially compensated for my cross country move. Three and a half months have transpired and I have still not begun working. During which time I have been given a thorough run around with out any results.

What are my legal options?
