could someone tell me the difference between attempting/obtaining controlled substance and trafficing controlled substance.

Big differance

attempting to sell and or obtaining meaning to buy or sell Trafficing is in my state the amount you have on you or they find in your home. In Idaho you can have anywhere from 22gram and up and that would be considerd trafficing

Policing from private property

My question is a simple yes or no question, Can any officer,in any state(particularly Indiana)police citizens from private property? Here's the scenario,A New Albany,Indiana police officer is sitting on the parking lot of a local grocery store,radaring and observing traffic,I drive by and he comes from the parking lot,and pulls me over for not wearing a seatbelt(which I think is a ridiculous law).My question is this,is it lawful for him to have "Policed" me from a private property situation?Isn't that called policing from your front porch? And aren't we protected from this kind of activity from our so called public servants? this happens a lot in my town and county and I for one am fed up with it.I don't pay taxes so the police can protect me from myself!!! The seatbelt laws are completely uncalled for,and have done nothing but line the pockets of corrupt local and state government officials.I am a "Professional" stock car racer and I also build race cars,and feel that I am more of an authority on vehicle safety then a cop in a monkey suit.I have been in numerous "hard hit" accidents and have never felt the need to wear a seatbelt,this should not be an issue that should be addressed by a police force,They are creating laws that are making people guilty of potentially harming themselves,My biggest problem is the fact that the officer involved in writing the ticket wasn't wearing his seatbelt himself.What justifies him enforcing a law on me that he himself doesn't abide by?please reply.

Simple answer is yes, he can. Police don't have to wear the seatbelts because they have to be able to get out of their cars quickly and the belts also interfere with their sidearms.

DUI Sepended License

My brother got his license suspended and they don't start the suspension until he gets out of jail my question is if he violates his probation and goes back to jail does his suspension continue or do they freeze it until he gets back out? He lives in Idaho

how long

how long does an upaid ticket stay on your driving record after you pay it? I think once its paid, its 3 years, but its been over 3 years and I haven't been able to pay it off yet, its really expensive. Once its paid will it fall off? or will it be another 3 years.

California DMV said can't renew my license because of bill owed to state of AZ? I never been to AZ!!!

California DMV states I have an outstanding bill with the state of Arizona and cannot renew my license until paid. I've never been to Arizona!!! Could this be something to do with a GSA Auction I never paid for a few years ago?

How to fight it

My younger sister, a minor has been in alot of trouble. The other day she skipped school. My dad found out about it and went to her school to see for himself. When he pulled into the parking lot he saw her in a car with an adult who had just been released from jail. Who knows if he had just picked her up, or was dropping her off to make it look like she had been there all along. The young man driving the car was not paying attention- he was looking over and talking to my sister and drove right into my dad's car. My dad told him to get out of the car! He was I'm sure considerably upset about the whole situation. My sister hopped out and the young man backed away, flipped my dad the bird and drove off. My dad took my sister to her home (she lives with her mother and is under her custody) and discussed what to do about her with her mother. Her mother did not want to report her being unruly. (Dad doesn't have custody, his hands are tied) Dad didn't report the accident either. Two days later a detective called dad and said that the young man reported the accident- but claimed that my dad struck his vehicle. He also claims that it was the following day, not the day that it actually happened. (We suspect the young man and my sister were on drugs and alcohol) Officer believes sister and friend over what my mom and dad say! Sister sided with her friend. Now dad is facing a traffic violation. However, the officer wrote dad's name in the spot where he meant to write my sister's name- in explanation of incident. How does dad fight this? Clerical error? Or something else? Happened in Ohio.
