Default help

my 19 year old son was arrested for under age drinking serivng minors they were in his car in a parking lot and fake ID.He had a fake Driver's License. Was arrested and charged with the three. He received a phone call from an Agent working in the Alchol and drugs for him to meet with them. He agreed. We went to court and were instructed by the Public Defender to plea not guilty. I spoke with the Agent who is going to interview him on monday and he said if he does not cooperate with them he was going to bump his charges to a felony since the oriignal charge for the fake Id was wrong. He had been in trouble for similiar when he was 16 he was on probation and his case was closed. The Agent stated since he has a bad track record it is best for him to cooperate with him, that is what he told me. So his public Defender said she is really not involved since this happened before the court date the agent called him. Can charges be changed and should he answer any questions without his attorney present? I am a single parent barely making ends meet and now this. Please advise.

Default sorry abt wot happened

I'm really sory about wot happened...and wotz stil happening. your son is really careless..now you are worrying about him..it's really unpleasant. I must tell you that your son gotta cooperate to answer the questions..and with the attorney present. otherwise he may answer something wrong. He must be prepared for it..ask legal advice from someone who is very well experienced. but am sure he will get out okay from that..he may have to pay fine for making a fake id. get ready for expenses...

but brave the situation. ***hugs***
