Angry is my ticket worth fighting?? -lots of other questions too

hello! Today, i got a ticket for "reckless driving" and "driving against traffic" or something like that (i cant read this ticket). And this ticket left me with a bunch of questions!
1. Will this ticket increase my insurance rates even though this ticket is in Louisiana and i live in Texas?

2. If i decide to "fight the ticket" will i have to come back to Louisiana, or can i do it in texas?

3. If i just want to pay my fines can i go to the court in texas and pay them there?

4. there was no fine amount on the ticket... anybody know what fines to expect from "reckless driving" and "driving on the wrong side of the road"?

5. I think the reckless driving is a bogus charge... all i really did was drive the wrong way for about 10 feet... sooo... wont the reckless driving be implied in the going the wrong way? its not like i was driving like a mainac, weaving in and out of traffic or super speeding... I made sure that nobody was coming. (apparently not good enough) ALSO! This was my first time ever going to that particular walgreens. i thought i could make it from the crossover i pulled into... it was at night too SO.. does what i did fit the definitoin of reckless driving?
"reckless driving" has such a negitave connotation... it makes me seem like a really bad driver, but im a really good driver i promise! I did a little research on the internet and it appears that having "reckless driving" on my record is REALLY REALLY BAD! like possibly thousands of dollars in increased insurance. what would be the insurance rate increases for my "offenses"?

6. it seems like someone who wildly cuts across the median, takes out a tree, runs on the sidewalk and cuts across 6 lanes of traffic and get back on the right side of the road would get the SAME ticket... is there some way of specifing exactly what i did on my record? (i even stayed in the right lane)

7. The first thing the officer said to me was "ARE YOU STUPID?" and i might say, i was very shocked by his harshness. this cop was very mean to me . the cop even said "that really pissed me off when i saw u do that". I think the officer had a really bad day and was happy to ruin my day and the next three years (i think thats how long it stays on there). the only things i said to the officer were along the lines of "yes sir" and "no sir" and "im very sorry sir"... the officer had NOTHING to be mad about. can i use the officer's rudeness in my "case"?

8. most important question--- should i try to fight my charges? if so, how do i go about doing this?? i really really think they were not right. ALL I WANTED WAS A 98 CENT PENCIL SHARPENER FROM WALGREENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

side note... this great experience has showed me how mean police officers are in real life! dang COPS is misleading!
