red light/speeding cameras in Louisiana

If you don't pay a red light or speeding camera ticket, what will happen? I've heard that no warrant or license suspensions will take place,but that you're credit will be negatively effected. Also, the company and/or law enforcement can or will persue you like creditors due for delinquent debts. Any experiences anyone can share with me is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Interesting question. Traffic offenses are criminal offenses, not civil. So I am not sure about the "ruining credit" issue. Failure to pay any traffic citation results in the same punishments. It isn't meant as a suggestion to pay, you must pay because you allegedly committed the strict liability crime of speeding.

I'm interested in where you heard the information about no license suspensions taking place. I am not sure a warrant is issued unless there were repeated offenses.
