DUI Help in Illinois
I am unemployed right now and being charged with a DUI. My Public Defender says this is a open and shut case for the State and I should plea, but 2 attorney's I talked to during free consolation said my case should of been dismissed 150% if my PD put in a pre-trial motion for "Probable Cause". Now to obtain the attorney's they are asking for $3500 for a jury trial which I cant afford, so I am going to represent myself. This is a very small county in Illinois were all Gov't are in "the buddy system." My question is can anyone help me find the law or statute that says that I am tittled to view the evidence against me ( I believe it is called Discovery)? and again I am in Illinois
