Unknown Adultry

Could someone please give legal advice....... Someone I know had an affair with a married man, and was not aware that he was married. he then advised her he was seperated. This gentlemans wife has now started harrassing my friend threatening legal action. She has not seen him since she found out, as he lives in the States and she lives in New Zealand. She is planning to return to the States and beleives that the marriage is over therefor she can have a normal relationship with him. Is she at a legal threat from this upset wife??

Individuals who have affairs with married people have not violated any laws that I am aware of. She can come to the states without fear that she will be sued or arrested. If she does continue to get harassed while in the states she may want to file a restraining order to keep the ex-spouse away from her.
