Is my marriage legal?
My current spouse and I married in 1994 with both of us knowing that I was still married to my first husband (bigamy on my part). I did divorce my first hubby in 1998. My question is my second marriage legal? We have no children or assets with the second hubby and have been astranged now for over 3 years but will be expecting a large inherentince in the future. Should I check into an annulment?

Depends on the state in which you reside. If you live in a state that has common law marriages, you may be considered common law marriage even if the first marriage was not ended before the second one took place. I would talk to an attorney immediately, especially if the estranged "spouse" feels like pressing criminal charges for bigamy.
