Question About TN Marriage/Divorce Laws

Yes, I have a Question. I am currently married in the state of Tennessee. Currently going through the divorce process {legally/physically separated also}, which as you know may take at least two months. Yet, was wondering is it possible to get married to someone else during this time frame to someone else in a different state, for example, Georgia. I mean what is the worst that can happen, if/when I get caught. I mean that County Clerk wouldn't have the Georgia Marriage on File, as it is a different state, correct? So, little to nothing would happen other than an annulment, if the 'new' wife or I brought it up, as they would not be actively looking for another marriage in my name, correct?

Illegal to be married to two people at the same time in the U.S. Can't really advise as to what could happen. Illegal is Illegal. You many want to consult criminal lawyers in GA and TN to see what fines, jail time etc. may be imposed for bigamy.
