Angry Do I have any recourse/ Disabled and no spousal support

To whom this may concern:

My ex husband resides in Contra Costa county, Ca. Our divorce was finalized Feb 2004. Is it possible to reopen the case, since both my adult son (21 then)and my exhusband threatened and coercied me into not asking for spousal support and medical coverage. There was a no contact order in place at the time for Domestic Violence.
The ex (Joel Jaussaud)fasified the income statements and his daytrading stocks. He went out on disability (per lawyer's advice) but was working from home and continued to collect a paycheck. He negotiated a settlement behind my lawyer's back. We both had attornies
The divorce stated I was not disabled, but I have been disabled and without medical insurance. I have both mental and physical deficiets since going out on disability Jan 2003. I am permately disabled and unable to work and have NO income now. I was given two very run down properties in the divorce settlement, but no income to do the necessary repairs. I got a lump sum payment, but half of that went to pay off a vehicle. He claimed he did not have any retirement funds, which I know is a lie. I was coericed to sign this agreement if I ever wanted to see my son (Matt) again. I have been unable to work or have any income since the divorce became final He misrepresented the two rental homes(slum lord). The home he is residing in now is in Discovery Bay Ca and been recently appraised for 500K

Basically I was taken advantage due to my mental illness both then and now and my love for my son. I was lied to, threatened and coerced into not getting any spousal support by both my adult son and his abusive father.

Do I have any recourse?

Thanks

Cheri

Sounds like you will need to consult with an attorney to discuss your options.

Try posting your case for free on this website. Most attorneys offer initial consulations and it is here that you will find out if things can be modified.
