Default Need help trying to divorce a Filipina

Hello, Im an american and I married a Philippine woman in the philippines and we visited the US once and after that we went back to the philippines. It was not long after that she stopped talking to me and when i went to see her she had moved and I can not find her and no one will tell me where she is. I want to file for a divorce but dont know how she would be served her papers. Since she is in the Philippines and Im in texas but I work in Iraq right now. My mother has general power of attorney so she can sign any papers i would need to sign to get the divorce. I would like to know if anyone can help me or know someone that can? Thank you for your time and have a great day

Thank you for your time
Sincerely,

Default Have same problem

Hi Ice,

I can't help because I have the same problem.
We married in the Philippines and now live in Spain. We both want a divorce but don't know how to go about it.
Someone must have gone through the process before and perhaps could point us in the right direction.
Will we have to go back to the Philippines to divorce? or can it be done through post? We need to know these things........
